Titration is meeting intensity in small, tolerable doses rather than all at once.
A little of the hard sensation, then a pause, then a little more if the system can stay. In 📝Somatic Practice that is how charge is approached without flooding the 📝window of tolerance. It is a method, not a diagnosis, not psychotherapy, and not a claim to practice a trademarked trauma protocol. Skipping the pause to "get it over with" is how people leave the session worse.
Clients feel a sip instead of a gulp. If overwhelm or shutdown shows, the dose was already too big — resource, orient, stop. Persistent unexplained symptoms belong with licensed care.
