Objective
Shawn Gold is an #entrepreneur, #marketer, and author whose career spans digital media, direct-to-consumer commerce, cannabis, and creativity education. He is best known for senior roles at major digital and fashion platforms, including MySpace, where he led marketing and content initiatives for a global user base, and TechStyle Fashion Group, where he oversaw corporate marketing and later advised the executive council. He founded Pilgrim Soul Creative, a publishing and consumer brand dedicated to creative thinking, which has sold over one million products and produced The Pilgrim Soul Creative Thinking Journal, a guided workbook for creativity exercises. Gold has also served in leadership and advisory capacities within the cannabis sector, notably as Chief Marketing Officer of Lowell Herb Co., and as an adviser to MedMen. His earlier experience includes publishing with Weblogs, Inc. (covering properties such as Engadget) and leadership roles at Inside, Cocodot, and eUniverse/Intermix, where he helped incubate MySpace. He has been a council member of the Ascendant Network, a community of senior marketing executives, and a founding board member of the Producers Guild of America’s New Media Council. Across these roles, his work has emphasized brand development, performance marketing, the application of artificial intelligence and automation, and the design of systems that enable creativity, scale, and monetization.
