In geometry, a torus (plural tori) is a surface of revolution generated by revolving a circle in three-dimensional space about an axis coplanar with the circle. [1][2] If the axis of revolution does not touch the circle, the surface has a ring shape and is called a torus of revolution.
"The energy in a torus flows in through one end circulates around the center and exits out through the other side. It's balanced, self-regulating, and always whole. [...] The torus is the primary pattern that nature uses for life at every scale." ~ @Foster Gamble[2]
The @One Inc Cooperative brand mark is a two-dimensional slice of a 3D torus to symbolize a @Living System and the principles which guide the organization. It was designed as a 'slice' to be a visual reminder that we, in all facets of life, are only able to see from the limits of our perspective.
