Ceiba is a futuristic-contemporary, 📝Playa-inspired 🏷️#fashion-boutique located at 1364 📝Haight Street in 📝San Francisco, CA. Ceiba began in 1996 as Ceiba Records, a label focused on psytrance, psybreak, and ambient-downtempo music, serving San Francisco’s festival scene and the international party circuit. The project combined music, art, and fashion, drawing influence from events such as 📝Burning Man, 📝Symbiosis, 📝Lightning in a Bottle, and Goa gatherings. In 2005, Ceiba moved from Lower Haight to Upper Haight, increasing visibility to a broader international audience. Over the following decade, the venture expanded to include collaborations with independent designers such as Skingraft, AD Now, Jan Hilmer, Gelareh Designs, Make Life a Ritual, Mother of London, Majesty Black, House of Malakai, and Demobaza. This transformation elevated Ceiba into Ceiba SF, a couture boutique curating the work of over 100 designers and offering both in-store and online collections. Peter Ziegelmeier, identified as CEO, entrepreneur, producer, musician, and DJ, also established a discography through projects such as The Real Camouflage (1983–1988) and Kode IV (1989–present), with releases on labels including Rec Rec Switzerland, KK Records, and Ceiba Records.
