Mythos

Figure AI is a robotics company founded in 2022 by 📝Brett Adcock that builds general-purpose humanoid robots for industrial and home settings. Its current robot, Figure 03, runs on Helix, Figure's in-house vision-language-action 📝Artificial Intelligence (AI) model, and is offered to commercial customers through a monthly robot-as-a-service subscription rather than an upfront sale.

Figure has built three humanoid generations in about three years. Figure 02 worked on BMW's Spartanburg assembly line before being retired, and Figure 03, unveiled in October 2025, was redesigned with the home in mind. An early partnership with 📝OpenAI to supply language models ended after roughly a year, with Adcock saying the harder problem had become high-rate robot control, which Figure now handles in-house. Figure raised a $675 million 📝Series B in February 2024 at a $2.6 billion valuation, with backers including 📝Microsoft, 📝NVIDIA, OpenAI, and 📝Jeff Bezos, then a Series C of more than $1 billion in September 2025 at $39 billion post-money. Its BotQ factory went from one robot a day to one an hour in early 2026, and the company has reported shipping hundreds of Figure 03 units since. Analysts note that independently verified commercial deployments at scale remain thin relative to the valuation. Adcock also runs 📝Hark, a separate personal-AI company.
