Notes
#priority-low - "the intention of this memo is to answer the question of "how do you hire someone to do or support Reddit marketing?" The way that I have done it to date is to require each applicant to a job listing to tell me about their relationship with Reddit. I will (a) ask about the candidates relationship to Reddit (e.g. do they use it, how, for how long) and (b) for their favorite sub below 250,000 subscribers and I will usually discount candidates that cannot answer that question or have a very surface level answer to that question. I can't teach someone about Reddit culture, that just takes time being immersed within it to learn so I look for skilled contractors that are also redditors so I can teach them how to do their skill set to the audience They're already familiar with.
