The Memo Gating function of @MythOS will replace the "This is a @Private Memo" page with a function that enables those without access to request such. Logged in users without access will be able to request access with a message and a click while logged out users without access will be prompted to create an account before doing the same. The owner of the memo will get a notification of the request and be able to approve or deny such. Approved users will become Viewers (a new class alongside @Collaboration (MythOS)).
Gates
- Consent to Access - the owner of the memo must approve each individual viewer of the memo
- Quorum to Access - a majority of those who already have access must approve each new viewer of the memo.
- Consensus to Access - all collaborators of the memo must unanimously approve each new viewer of the memo. This feature was previously called "Pillow Talk" when it was conceptualized in 2018. In the context of @One Inc, all conversations are recorded and snippets are only shared when @consent is mutual. When consensus cannot be found in collaborator conversations, conversations often become public to crowd-source it.
