Mac Lethal (born David McCleary Sheldon) is an American 🏷️#rapper, songwriter, and author from Kansas City known for his lightning-fast lyrical delivery. He took first place at the 2002 Scribble Jam and released his debut album that same year, having built underground credibility through battle rap and collaborations with artists like Aesop Rock and Slug of Atmosphere before his mainstream breakout.

His November 2011 YouTube video rapping while making pancakes went viral within days, drawing millions of views and interviews on CNN and The Washington Post; a follow-up viral hit, "Alphabet Aerobics," later brought an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He also founded Black Clover Records and wrote the novel Texts From Bennett, documenting his text exchanges with his cousin.
