📝One Gatherings Online (OGO): Host Protocol
This 📝memo contains instructions for creating and submitting the digital room you'll be hosting.
We are using Google Hangouts for the breakout rooms and hosts (i.e. you, creating the room) will need to allow each new person into the room. Please stay in this room throughout the gathering so people are not left waiting at your door. If your internet connection allows, you can visit another room while keeping that room open in another tab or on a different device to watch for new people jumping in.
Create
To create and submit your room, follow these steps:
- Go to meet.google.com and click 'Join or start a meeting'
- Name your meeting the name of your 📝Symposium Online room, click 'Continue'
- Copy the URL of the newly created room and email/message it to me ([email protected])
