Christina Ritchey is a Seattle–based thinker whose private fascinations run contemplative — etymology, the inner life of plants, and the magic of communication between conscious and subconscious mind. Conversations with her tend to circle the symbolic structure of language, the slow intelligence of botanical systems, and the layered terrain of attention itself.
Christina and I met through 📝Swing City, the 📝Burning Man theme camp grown from the swinging-monkey culture of 📝Original Muscle Beach (OMB) in 📝Santa Monica, CA. Almost a decade into the friendship now, she is one of the people whose inner life I have most enjoyed slowly learning about. The conversations about plant root systems and the etymology of a single word are, to me, the enduring miracle.
