Evan Reich is Chief Product Officer and Head of AI at BWG Global, a New York research firm that supplies industry intelligence to investment firms and corporations. His domain is the sourcing, engineering, and productization of alternative and market data — the raw material institutional investors use to form theses — and the AI layer built on top of it. He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and serves as a board member and 🏷️#advisor alongside his operating role.

Before BWG Global, Reich led data strategy and sourcing at Verition Fund Management and at Nasdaq, where he ran the function for Quandl, Nasdaq's alternative-data platform. He held the same remit earlier at BlueMountain Capital Management, worked as a senior data engineer at Millennium Partners, and ran alternative research and data services at SAC Capital. His career began further upstream in research and finance — equity research at Vista Research, later an S&P company, and private equity at Credit Suisse's DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. The firm he joined took its present form in early 2023, when 📝BWG Strategy combined with OTR Global under a single brand.
