Mythos

Bobby Kotick served as CEO of 📝Activision Blizzard from 1991 to December 2023, one of the longest executive tenures in gaming industry history. He oversaw the company's growth from a mid-tier publisher into one of the largest game companies in the world — including the 2008 merger with Vivendi/Blizzard, the acquisition of King (Candy Crush), and the stewardship of franchises like Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch.

Kotick was the central figure in Activision Blizzard's 📝sexual harassment crisis — accused of knowing about systemic misconduct and failing to act, with reports of his own separate misconduct allegations. He departed after Microsoft completed its $68.7B acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023.

His direct reports included 📝Humam Sakhnini, who later became CEO of 📝Discord.
