A Rational Degenerate is someone who has a reasonable degree of understanding about their own actions that degrade them from the normal moral standard. The concept of a rational degenerate was inspired by @Bowdy Brown who, when asked why he was buying two, 2 lb. burritos at 2 AM, responded with "hungover me will be hungry". It was agreed by all those present to be a very rational decision in a degenerate state.
