Resonance Score is a single, unified metric created by 📝CulturePulse to assess how strongly a message, creative, policy, or strategy is likely to resonate with a target audience, calculated by testing it against psychologically realistic 📝Digital Twins of that audience.
Rather than handing decision-makers dozens of separate signals, the Resonance Score condenses CulturePulse's multi-dimensional analysis — emotional tone, cultural alignment, moral-value appeal, and the roughly 93 psychological and cultural dimensions exposed through the 📝CulturePulse API — into one number that can be compared directly. The same message can be scored against different audience twins to show how each group is likely to receive it, and multiple variants can be scored against the same twin to identify which will land, which will fall flat, and which is likely to backfire before any media budget is committed.
The score runs on the multi-agent simulation approach behind 📝Pythia, developed by 📝Justin Lane, and appears across CulturePulse's product line: as message-resonance scoring in the API, and as a feature of each tier of the 📝ARES suite, where it assesses how policies and communications align with prevailing narratives. Common applications include pre-testing ad copy and campaign messaging, stress-testing crisis and reputational statements before release, and comparing brand positioning across demographic and psychographic segments.
The concept traces back to CulturePulse's early work with 📝Reddit data, where a resonance score was designed to guide advertisers into community culture by rating headline variants against the subreddits they targeted — and to explain why one variant should outperform another.
