Objective

AgentKit is a set of tools from OpenAI for building, deploying, and optimizing software agents. It includes Agent Builder (a visual canvas for composing and versioning multi-agent workflows), a Connector Registry (OpenAI) for managing data and tool access across products, and ChatKit for embedding customizable chat interfaces. The release expands evaluation features with datasets, trace grading, automated prompt optimization, and support for third-party models.

Examples include Klarna’s support agent, Clay’s sales agent, and rapid builds by Ramp and LY Corporation. Reinforcement fine-tuning adds options such as custom tool calls and custom graders. ChatKit and new Evals are generally available; Agent Builder and Connector Registry are in beta with admin prerequisites.
