📝The Beard Club, formerly 'Dollar Beard Club', was banned from the /r/beards 📝subreddit in 2015 for violating 📝Reddiquette. They did this by (1) asking one of a employee with a Reddit account to submit their marketing video (See: 📝Self-Promotion) and (2) campaigning for votes with their email newsletter (See: Prompting Reddit Posts). They—like many organizations prompted to see Reddit as a potential marketing channel—clashed with the community's culture as a result of ignorant eagerness.
