Objective
Karen Allen is an American #entrepreneur and #author specializing in digital music, Live Streaming, and entertainment technology. She is known for her work as a strategy advisor and business consultant to startups in the livestreaming and entertainment tech sectors. Allen authored "Twitch for Musicians" providing musicians with practical strategies for audience engagement and monetization on digital platforms. She is CEO and co-founder of Infinite Album, a company producing AI-generated, game-reactive, and copyright-safe music for gamers and metaverse participants. Since its founding in 2021, Infinite Album has achieved industry recognition, including a win at the Midemlab Music Creation & Education Category. Allen’s career has included roles advising major entertainment tech startups, record labels, and artists on strategy and business development, as well as moderating panels on AI music and livestreaming at prominent industry events.
Allen began her career as a digital music strategist for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2006, she became general manager of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, working with major companies across the mobile entertainment industry. She then joined TAG Strategic in 2008 as VP of Client Services and Business Development, overseeing client accounts and strategic partnerships in entertainment and digital services. In 2014, Allen founded Karen Allen Consulting, advising entertainment tech startups and providing livestream strategy to artists, labels, and music companies. Her clients have included Ice Nine Kills, mtheory, Future Classic Recordings, Warner Music Group, Concord Music Group, Loma Vista Recordings, TapInfluence, Audiokite, and others.
