Mythos

Lou Alaimo is a 📝CPG operator, 🏷️#founder, and 🏷️#entrepreneur based in the New York metro area. He is the founder of Spartan Way Labs, a consumer products venture launching a creatine supplement line in partnership with Joe DeSena and the Spartan Race brand, with a gut health supplement and a pet treats and supplements line in the pipeline. He has spent his career building distribution and digital commerce capability for fast-growth food and snack brands, with a track record that spans natural channel pioneering through full omnichannel expansion.

Earlier in his career, Lou took Yum Earth from zero to roughly fifty million dollars in revenue, pioneering placement across conventional grocery, convenience, drug, mass, and club channels before the company was sold to private equity on the strength of its club performance. He subsequently served as Global Head of Digital Commerce at Pim Brands, the parent of Welch's fruit snacks, where he built the retail media, consumer data, and micro fulfillment functions from scratch. He has been an OG member of 📝BWG Strategy (formerly Ecom Advisory) since 2017, where he is a regular practitioner voice on commerce and channel calls — the same community through which he connected to 📝Justin Ruiss and Aaron Coant. He is currently exploring a parallel functional candy concept built on a build-to-hold, dividend-focused model, and uses 📝Mavera for synthetic-audience packaging research.

I was introduced to Lou by 📝Justin Ruiss in May 2026.
