Sue Kwon is Chief Communications Officer at 📝Lila Sciences, where she leads communications, public relations, and marketing. She is an AP and Emmy Award–winning 🏷️#journalist whose career has moved across media, technology, and venture capital. She holds a BA in communications and political science from Stanford University, and began her working life in the White House Press Office before spending more than a decade as a technology reporter for CBS, covering Silicon Valley.
Kwon left daily reporting for corporate and venture communications — marketing and communications roles at Symantec and Nokia, then global communications at 📝General Catalyst during that firm's expansion into Europe and India, followed by communications leadership at Comcast Ventures and Felicis. She has taught communication mastery at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and has served on the boards of the Asian American Journalists Association and the International Children's Art Museum of San Francisco. Lila Sciences, where she now sits, builds what it describes as an operating system for science, spanning advanced materials, therapeutics, energy, and biotech.
