In many sports, a team huddles before each 📝play to keep everyone informed, connected, and calibrated throughout the game. Citizen Standup is a daily huddle, at 10 AM PST, to reinforce our connection to “We” and maintain awareness of our collective landscape and progress.
In this space, each Citizen answers three questions:
- What did you do yesterday?
- What are you doing today?
- What do you need help with?
Stand-up is open to all 📝Citizens of One and hosted in 📝One Topia as a means to accommodate larger groups. The stand-up process strengthens Us by 📝making space for everyone to share the progress they’re contributing to Us. The questions highlight progress and help flag blockers. The daily reinforcement of sharing individual successes and plans helps to stoke and excitement about our contributions to 📝One Inc Cooperative. Join stand-up here 👉 topia.io/citizens
Frame
- Stand-up is a practice of 📝consent (remaining in the bounds of the 📝frame)
- It is a practice of time boxing and boundary-setting. Though the people who show up for Standup work together frequently and have many things to share, talk about, and collaborate on, Standup is a space to answer these 3 questions concisely and nothing more.
- Standup requires space-holding and presence. By listening to each other's answers we are helping each other manifest. We share our attention even when things aren't yet relevant.
