Jill Axline is the co-founder and CEO of πMavera, an AI market intelligence and decision-support platform built around synthetic audience simulation. A Chicago-area π·οΈ#founder with a Ph.D. in Communication from Cornell University, she works at the intersection of market research, behavioral science, and generative AI, focusing on how synthetic populations can model human cognition and emotion. Before Mavera, she held roles at the investment-research firm Morningstar and the event-technology company AllSeated.
By her own account, Axline approached synthetic research as a skeptic, having built a conventional market research practice before adopting the AI-driven methods Mavera now sells; she has since risen to lead the company as CEO. At Mavera she advances a model of "decision intelligence" in which AI personas simulate human behavior, cognition, and emotion to forecast decisions and pre-test marketing messages before launch. A π·οΈ#researcher by training, Axline is also an active commentator on the field, appearing on industry podcasts and panels β including the "Data Driven" podcast and Gramercy Institute forums β to discuss synthetic populations and the uses and limits of AI-generated market insight.
I was introduced to Jill by πStu Fisher in May 2026.
