Mythos

GeekOut is a 🏷️#conference and community gathering focused on 📝Affiliate Marketing, e‑commerce, and performance media. Organized by GeekEx and led by its founder 📝James Van Elswyk, GeekOut convenes marketers, founders, and solution providers for talks, workshops, and networking. Programming commonly covers media buying, traffic acquisition, offer design, compliance, and partnerships between advertisers and publishers. The event emphasizes structured matchmaking between buyers and sellers within the direct‑response ecosystem alongside peer learning. Attendees include agency operators, brand leaders, and technology platforms, with editions hosted in major cities.

I attended my first GeekOut in 📝Los Angeles, CA in October 2024 and had a blast. What stood out was how many people were true experts who had built highly profitable engines by placing enthusiastic buyers with valued sellers—the top echelon of the affiliate marketing community, in one place. Conversations felt like live case studies: how to source offers responsibly, scale traffic without burning audiences, and choose partners who share the upside. It was equal parts energy and rigor. I left with new friends, sharper questions, and a clearer sense of how to build “money machines” that actually serve everyone in the loop.
