The Virtual Tea Festival is an interactive, co-created set of presentations and conversations of tea people from around the world. Inspired by @COVID-19, the first was hosted on April 9, 2020. The first Virtual Tea Festival was broadcast live to Facebook, attracting 6,000 global viewers with over 1,100 comments among them. There were 20 presenters from 6 countries that ranged from tea farmers, tea blenders, tea servers, tea teachers, and tea students. The Virtual Tea Festival will continue as a series of events on the internet for various tea communities.
