Publisher Tools are a free suite of features within 📝Reddit Pro that help news and content publishers distribute, track, and grow their articles across Reddit.
Reddit introduced Publisher Tools in September 2025 and made them generally available on March 30, 2026, opening access to any news organization, lifestyle publication, or trade outlet that verifies its web domain. The tools live in a "Links" tab inside Reddit Pro and are free to use. They include URL engagement insights that track how individual stories perform — views, upvotes, clicks, and comments — alongside 📝Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed synchronization that automatically imports new articles and AI-driven recommendations that suggest which communities best fit a given piece of content.
The tools were first tested in an alpha phase with publishers including The Atlantic, The Hill, NBC News, and the Associated Press, then widened to a broader beta before the open launch. Reddit reported that publishers using the tools since September 2025 saw median post views rise 46% and profile views nearly double, while median comments on their stories grew 48%. The launch reflects a broader effort to position Reddit as a destination for news distribution and discussion, complemented by an enhanced link-viewing experience that lets users read articles in-app while swiping into related comment threads.
