Mythos

In entertainment, "inspired by true events" generally means that an event was used as a springboard for the finished work; a "what if" scenario. Often, very significant changes have been made. The statement is typically an indication that the author is using a situation familiar to the audience as a stepping stone to explore an issue they might not otherwise have considered. The 📝frame is sufficiently vague such that an author can use them however he/she wants and... 📝We are the authors of our own stories.

The 📝frame of "inspired by true events" is, for me, another reminder of 📝Storyteller Consciousness; a conscious awareness that the stories we tell create the reality we see.

  • 🏷️#letl+📝Chase Riner for inspiring this shirt in response to my remark about the opening screen of The Spy which he's just recommended as we were chatting on the phone.
