Mythos

Go-to-Karting 1 (GTK1) is a community event that riffs on 📝Go-To-Market (GTM) engineering and 📝Formula 1 (F1), convening 📝Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineering experts ahead of 📝Sculpt (Clay) 2026, 📝Clay’s annual conference. Designed as an F1-style team race, GTK1 places strategists behind the wheel of a different kind of machine—their data stacks, automation workflows, and revenue systems—linking the dynamics of go-to-market execution with the spectacle of Formula 1. The event frames “constructors” as cross-functional teams of GTM practitioners who coordinate roles analogous to drivers and race engineers, emphasizing collaboration, iteration speed, and decision-making under time pressure. Instead of lap times, performance centers on practical build quality, reliability, and clarity of strategy, reflecting common priorities in sales, marketing, RevOps, and data operations.

The format is intended to encourage peer learning and shared vocabulary while maintaining a light, competitive atmosphere. Scheduled immediately before Sculpt 2026, it serves as a community kickoff that spotlights GTM engineering craft through playful competition and public demonstrations, aligning the culture of experimentation with the narrative energy of premier motorsport.

The idea originated as a continuation of the epic laser tag event that 📝Harris Kenney orchestrated before Sculpt '25.
