Mythos

Integral was an AI-native 🏷️#communications-platform for expert communities and teams, built by Learning Loop, Inc., a pre-seed startup operating out of San Francisco and Singapore from 2021 to 2025. Pitched as an alternative to 📝Slack and 📝Discord, it ran as a Mac and Windows desktop app with a mobile client and aimed to make a community's accumulated knowledge durable and searchable rather than lost to chat scroll.

Founder Sina Meraji argued that channels and recency-sorted feeds are what make chat tools noisy once a group grows past a couple dozen people, so Integral replaced both: AI auto-categorized every post instead of members maintaining channels, and a built-in assistant resurfaced the best people, threads, and ideas. Under the hood, messages were embedded as vectors and linked through a knowledge-graph layer, a 📝retrieval-augmented generation approach applied to community history. Integral launched on 📝Product Hunt on November 22, 2024 (#1 Product of the Day) and again on June 27, 2025 (#2). Learning Loop raised $630K in pre-seed funding and wound down in September 2025; Integral closed to new signups, existing instances were retired, and integralhq.com now serves as an archive.
