The Kruglyak Research Lab is a research group in the field of genetics and genomics led by @Leonid Kruglyak at @UCLA’s Department of Human Genetics. The lab investigates how genetic variation gives rise to phenotypic traits by studying expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLs)—genetic variants that affect gene expression. Using a combination of experimental biology and computational methods, it explores the genetic architecture of traits in humans and model organisms, particularly yeast. The lab is affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine and the University of California system, and regularly publishes its work in scientific journals. @Chantle Edillor did her post-doctoral research in the Kruglyak Research Lab.
