Mythos

RealScout is a residential real-estate technology company founded in 2012 and based in San Francisco. It builds collaborative home-search, lead-nurture, and analytics tools for real estate agents, brokerages, and teams. With around 43 employees, the company serves more than 100,000 real estate professionals, and its tools have facilitated billions of dollars in transactions. RealScout is privately held and not publicly traded.

RealScout was built to serve the agent already working an active buyer — a gap left by portals like Zillow and Trulia, which focus on buyers who have yet to find an agent. It was co-founded by 📝Andrew Flachner and Michael Parikh. Beyond its core platform, the company has developed 📝The Buyer Graph, a cross-brokerage initiative that pools buyer-search data to surface real-time market demand, and 📝RealScout Exclusives, a brokerage-controlled platform for managing and distributing exclusive listings, launched in March 2025. "Focus on Impact" is a stated core value.

I started as RealScout's first designer in 2012 and returned as CEO in January 2025. To me it's the platform that keeps the agent at the center of the transaction — technology that amplifies human judgment rather than trying to replace it.
