Objective
Knowledge management is the process of creating, chronicling, categorizing, utilizing, and refining organizational, industry, and/or personal knowledge. It refers to a multidisciplinary approach to achieving objectives by making the best use of available experience and insights. Most often digested into Living Documents, knowledge management requires the ability to efficiently reference, review, and refine previous learnings. Organizational libraries are often referred to as a 'wiki' in reference to Wikipedia which was named after the Hawaiian word 'wiki' meaning short and 'pedia' meaning reference. [2]
