Mythos

Oran Akron is the VP of AI GTM at 📝monday.com, where he leads an internal team rebuilding 📝go-to-market processes with AI agents. He joined monday.com in 2018 when the company had roughly 100 employees and five sellers, and over seven years helped scale the revenue organization past 1,000 people across sales, customer success, marketing, and partnerships while growing the 📝RevOps team from one person to more than 80. After conversations with monday.com's CRO about the future of GTM, he stepped away from RevOps to incubate the new AI team. He holds a bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University and is based in Israel.

Operating like a startup inside monday.com, Oran's team began with the top of the funnel: an 📝inbound agent that handles the majority of inbound leads, runs real five-minute-plus conversations, qualifies prospects, and books meetings directly on AE calendars — tested against cohorts of top human reps before scaling. They built an outbound agent that ingests web sources from podcasts to financial reports to LinkedIn activity and synthesizes personalized account plans, while leaving reps full autonomy over the output rather than forcing a playbook. He treats agents as an engineering system, layering observability, failure tracking, and dashboards on top of the same business metrics used for human reps. He cites change management — top-down communication, gradual rollouts, and gamification — as the biggest organizational challenge in driving adoption across a 3,000-person org. His earlier career includes operations and BI leadership roles at monday.com and Seebo.

I had Oran on to talk through rebuilding GTM with AI at monday.com — what I took away was treating agents like an engineering system you monitor in production, not a feature you ship and forget.
