Mythos

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina, established in its current form in 1924 and consistently ranked among the leading universities in the United States.

Duke traces its origins to Trinity College, founded in 1838, and took its current name following a 1924 endowment from the Duke family, whose wealth came from tobacco and electric power. The university spans undergraduate and graduate programs across the liberal arts, engineering, medicine, law, and business, and is known for its research output and its Division I athletics. Its graduate business school is the 📝Fuqua School of Business.
