Policing Performance 360 is an AI-assisted personnel-evaluation tool for law enforcement agencies, used to support promotions, performance reviews, and leadership development.
Policing Performance 360 gathers 360-degree input from raters, who submit feedback by speaking or typing through secure links, and uses AI to compile that input into structured evaluation reports. Police chiefs can customize how responses are weighted by role or rank and can filter outlier responses to produce balanced outcomes. The tool was developed by the firm CivicSolutions in collaboration with πPolice2Peace and was presented at the 2025 International Association of Chiefs of Police conference. Early deployments include the Castle Rock and Parsons police departments; the Castle Rock department reported saving more than 40 hours of administrative time per promotion cycle and doubling evaluator participation.
I introduced Policing Performance 360 into policing through Police2Peace, the nonprofit I founded and lead.
