Chartered the year Vermont joined the Union, UVM grew into a research university spanning the liberal arts, sciences, medicine, and professional study, with degree programs from the bachelor's through the doctoral and M.D. levels. It is where Justin Lane earned his undergraduate degree and served as a teaching assistant before pursuing graduate work abroad.
This is where my path in scholarship began. As an undergraduate I assisted in presenting lecture materials and grading from August 2008 through 2010 — my first real taste of teaching, and the foundation I carried into everything that followed.
