Green Park Brands is a Los Angeles–based consumer packaged goods holding company that creates, operates, and invests in better-for-you food, beverage, and household brands. Founded in 2015 by 📝Livio Bisterzo, it builds brands in fast-moving categories where daily use and repeat purchases can turn into lasting consumer relationships.
Its first and best-known brand is Hippeas, an organic chickpea puff snack launched in 2016 and sold in the United Kingdom and the United States. Green Park has since expanded through a mix of launches, joint ventures, and lead investments: Ugly Water, a flavored sparkling water developed with the founders of Ugly Drinks; Mavericks Snacks, a peanut-free kids' snack line that debuted at Whole Foods in 2020; and Reel Paper, a bamboo toilet paper brand. The company positions itself around sustainability and social impact, arguing that large incumbents are under-investing in the healthier, more sustainable products that younger consumers want, and it targets large global categories dominated by multinationals that often buy innovation rather than build it.
