Livio Bisterzo is an Italian consumer-products π·οΈ#entrepreneur and the founder of πGreen Park Brands, the Los Angeles company he started in 2015 to create and scale better-for-you consumer packaged goods brands with a social and environmental mission. Green Park's first brand was HIPPEAS, an organic chickpea snack line that expanded across UK and US retail.
Bisterzo started his first business, in events, in 2003, and in 2008 partnered with the Chicago private-label manufacturer RNA Corporation to develop Kyoku for Men, a men's skincare line. He studied at the University of the Arts London. After a leadership transition at HIPPEAS, he moved to the role of chairman while Joe Serventi became global CEO. In 2018 he founded Reel, a maker of tree-free, plastic-free household paper products, which he leads as CEO and which later acquired HoldOn Bags.
I was introduced to Livio in June 2019 by Mark Friday of Cathexis Ventures. We connected on our belief that every product in every category will need to be reinvented as consumers become more aware of what's in their products and where those products go when they're done with them.
