Noah Auerhahn is a serial π·οΈ#entrepreneur who co-founded πRobin Healthcare and now leads Uncommon Therapeutics, a disease-focused biotechnology company he co-founded in San Francisco in 2024 with Ryan Lim. His ventures span e-commerce, healthcare technology, and therapeutics.
Auerhahn's first company was Extrabux, a San Diego online shopping rewards and affiliate business that he bootstrapped and that was acquired by Ebates in 2013. In 2017 he co-founded Robin Healthcare with Emilio Galan to pair artificial intelligence with medical scribes, taking clinical documentation and billing work off physicians' plates. He served as its CEO, and by his own account the company raised more than $75 million. Uncommon Therapeutics, a Y Combinator company, aims to develop multiple therapeutics per disease by combining new research tools with deep disease expertise.
I first met Noah in line at a buffet at the San Diego Fast Pitch event in 2009 or 2010, when he was pitching Extrabux. After I moved to San Diego in 2012, we found great joy working through Extrabux's accounting and financial modeling together, and when I first heard about Robin, I soon became a founding investor.
