Mythos

Nodule is the small, pea-like knot felt inside a 📝taut band.

It is the spot the fingers settle on when they have found the cord. In 📝Trigger Point Therapy that knot is where pressure is held. The word is a palpation finding, not a diagnosis of a tumor, a cyst, or a calcified lesion. A lump that is hard, growing, painless, or unlike the surrounding band is outside this language and belongs with licensed care.

Clients feel it as "that's the knot." Pressure stays breathable. If the nodule does not match a taut band or a familiar referral, the practitioner does not treat it as a 📝trigger point.
