Mythos

Polyvagal theory is a model describing how the vagus nerve may shape states of safety, mobilization, and shutdown.

In this library it is a model, not settled physiology, not a diagnosis, and not a certification. Session language can use the states without requiring the theory. Persistent unexplained symptoms belong with licensed care; this is not psychotherapy.

Clients do not need the theory.
