Mythos

Active 📝trigger point is a point that aches on its own and reproduces a familiar discomfort when pressed.

The person already knows the ache; the fingers confirm it by bringing the same sensation back, often along a referral map. In 📝Trigger Point Therapy these are the points that usually set the session's focus. They are findings, not a diagnosis of injury or of a disease in the muscle. A point that is quiet until pressed is named latent instead.

Clients feel it as the thing that has been nagging. Work holds pressure in a breathable range until the ache eases and the band softens, then lengthens the muscle. Forcing past a 7 out of 10 makes the body guard and the point stay.
