Mythos

Central 📝trigger point is a point in the belly of a muscle, near where its nerve enters.

📝Trigger Point Therapy often finds the first knot here, on the 📝taut band, rather than at the attachment. The location is a map for the hands, not a diagnosis of a nerve injury and not a claim to have found the motor endplate as a lab fact. Attachment tenderness, when it is present, is usually treated as a consequence of the band, not as a second disease.

Clients feel it as the middle of the muscle grabbing. Work holds that central knot first; satellite points in the referral zone often quiet after it does. Forcing the attachment instead is usually the weaker lever.
