Mythos

Assisted stretch is the practitioner moving the receiver's limb or spine into a yoga-like stretch while the receiver stays passive.

The receiver does not pull themselves into the shape. In πŸ“Thai Bodywork every stretch stops at a good opening, not a sharp πŸ“end range. It is not a joint adjustment, not a spinal manipulation, and not a medical procedure. Consent is continuous: the receiver can stop the limb at any moment.

Clients feel a long, supported length. Sharp, shooting, numb, or panicky sensation is a stop. Fresh injury, dizziness, or a stretch that arrived after trauma is a referral.
