Mythos

Pacing is using the breath to keep session intensity inside a workable range.

If the breath is high, held, or gasping, the work on the table is too much. In 📝Breathwork and in hands-on work, the practitioner watches the breath as a speed limit: slow it, or ease the contact. Pacing is a dose tool, not a diagnosis of anxiety, and not a claim that a calm breath proves the session worked.

Clients are asked to keep the breath easy while a hold or a stretch is on. If they cannot, the hold drops. Panic, dizziness, or chest pain is a stop.
