Mythos

Tracking is following a sensation as it changes moment to moment.

A tightness moves, spreads, fades, or stays. In ๐Ÿ“Somatic Practice the practitioner and the person stay with that change instead of jumping to a stretch or a story. Tracking is a method, not a diagnosis, and not a requirement to watch everything. If tracking floods, it stops โ€” resource, orient, smaller. Persistent distress is a referral; this is not psychotherapy.

Clients feel a sensation that has a life. Rushing to change it misses the information. Panic or shutdown is a stop.
