Mythos

Deload is a planned week of reduced training load so tissue can catch up.

In 📝Sports Therapy it is 📝load management on the calendar, not a punishment and not a diagnosis of overtraining. Cutting volume or intensity for a week is how 📝tissue tolerance rises later. It is not a guarantee against injury. Acute or worsening pain in a deload week still follows the 📝referral rule.

Clients feel easier days. Filling the week with extra table time instead of less load misses the point.
