Objective
MythOS is a communication platform that enables the chronicling and reference of your knowledge, perspectives, experiences, etc. The interlinking of your content can be referenced anywhere and allows readers to choose the depth and direction they will explore your world.
Mythos One is a literal time machine; every time you use it, it manufactures new time.
Your resources can be referenced on any platform—emails, social, text, etc.—and enable any reader to gain contextual insight while having the ability to explore further on their own terms.
We've found that this Multi-Stage Content approach creates rabbit holes that naturally unfurl to fit those with whom you're communicating. You convey more and seem less pushy!
MythOS Manual — features and functions of the platform
MythOS Guide — use cases for, and best practices of, the medium
MythOS Glossary — language used in and around the medium
MythOS Community — a place to share memos and get feedback
MythOS Support — a place to ask technical questions and report bugs
Basics
At Mythos One's core are Mention and #Tags; together these functions enable you to augment your communication by embedding hyper-relevant context. Put simply, you can use @tags to link another resource and #tags to link to all resources using that same tag.
Autocomplete suggests existing resource names and previously used tags as you begin to type which enables faster communication. Once your choice is highlighted, just hit enter to select.
The more you develop your library, the more you're able to tag resources for reference, and the faster you're able to communicate. Starting today, you'll never need to repeat yourself again.
Styling
Mythos One supports text styles like: bold, italic, and underline as well as headings one through six. To add styling or links, you can use Text Markup or simply highlight text and the toolbar will appear above your selection. Missing something you need? We want to hear your feedback!
Collaboration (MythOS)
Collaboration (MythOS) with other MythOS users is now as simple as clicking the '+' in the header of any memo and inviting them by email. Once you have added someone as a collaborator to any of your memos, you will be able to add them to future memos by typing their name. When a collaborator is added to a memo, they are able to see and edit the memo and collaborator notes regardless of the memo's sharing permissions. Furthermore, the memo will appear in their Memo Feed and be bumped to the top anytime you or another collaborator makes an update.
Privacy
Intended to serve both public and private Prose, Mythos One was developed with the ability to create Private Memo as well. Resources like journals and notes that only you can see.
