Reflector is the rarest 📝Human Design System type, defined by having no defined centers at all, and is designed to mirror the health of their community back to it.
Reflectors make up roughly 1% of the population. With every center open, they sample and amplify the energy of those around them — they have no fixed strategy of their own, only the lunar cycle as a reference point. Their strategy is to wait a full 28-day lunar cycle before making major decisions, since a single day's reading is unreliable. Most Reflectors lack a defined inner Authority and rely on the lunar cycle as their only decision-making reference.
Reflectors' open centers make them extraordinarily sensitive to their environment. They feel different from everyone else, often deeply empathetic but easily exhausted by defined people's sustained energy. Their role is to reflect — when their community is healthy, they feel healthy; when it isn't, they feel it as discomfort. Honoring the lunar cycle and surrounding themselves with healthy people and places is the practical discipline of the type.
