Dongming Yin is an 🏷️#entrepreneur, systems architect, and mathematical modeler working on AI automation and data infrastructure for supply chain and manufacturing. He is the founder of GAIA TECH, which he started in 2019 and registered in Arcadia, California, in the 📝Los Angeles, CA metropolitan area. His career has centered on the digital transformation of traditional industry, and specifically on two components he describes as foundational to intelligent manufacturing: a general-purpose big-data platform architected for manufacturing, and a financial digital-twin business intelligence application running on that engine.

By his own account the platform has been deployed at a major Apple supplier managing roughly one million raw-material SKUs and more than 250,000 product SKUs, and his portfolio also includes an indoor-positioning analytics product built jointly with Cisco IoT sensors and an AI-driven automated property appraisal system used daily by some sixty banks. He founded Beijing GAIA IT in 2013 and Wehave (Beijing) Information & Consulting in 2011, and earlier held technology and analyst roles at Jones Lang LaSalle, E-House China, and the Maryland Department of Planning. In 2007 and 2008 he served on an eight-member British Council research panel on affordable housing in China and the United Kingdom. He holds a Master of Community Planning from the University of Maryland, an MS from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a BS from Nanjing University.
