Lund Family Center provides services to parents, children, child carers, etc. to support them in addressing the challenges they may face. Their programs work together to make sure that families are empowered to become happy, stable, and self-sufficient.[1] Founded in 1890 as a maternity home, Lund has evolved over generations to meet the changing needs of society. Their services include full-service adoption, education, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, screening and assessment, as well as family support services.
The work I did for Lund Family Center involved growing their managing their social media accounts and growing their following by engaging with donors. One idea that we developed was the "friendraiser," which is a low-friction fundraiser designed as a family activity; we were also able to solicit significant in-kind donations from companies like Think Geek. By the time I left, I had raised the efficiency of the social marketing and content development by 300%.
