Mythos

Jocko Willink is a retired United States Navy SEAL officer, 🏷️#author, and 🏷️#podcaster best known for leading SEAL Team Three's Task Unit Bruiser during the 2006 Battle of Ramadi in Iraq and for his subsequent body of work on leadership, decision-making, and personal discipline.

After retiring from the Navy in 2010, Willink co-founded the leadership-consulting firm Echelon Front with his former second-in-command Leif Babin and co-authored Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win (2015) and its follow-ups, books that frame command responsibility as a universal management principle rather than a strictly military doctrine.
